After a fender bender on his old Chevy Astro Van used for handy-man jobs, Pat took the $1500 insurance money and launched a dream. With a few accessories, The Chai Guy started in October of 2014 serving fresh, local authentic Chai every Saturday at the Historic Rochester Public Market. Driving his old Chevy Astro Van, Pat would setup a small outdoor Cafe outdoors, every Saturday at The Market heating up Chai on a propane heater, serving local baked goods, and passing out free samples. After five years, a permanent indoor space was secured, and today the same fresh, local, authentic Chai is being served every Saturday, with a few more modern amenities.
